Transit 2

Transit 2 is a multi-effects plugin designed to create movement and transitions in your music. It's for producers who want to build dynamic, evolving effects without managing dozens of automation lanes. It simplifies the process of creating buildups, drops, and rhythmic motion into a single, controllable interface. This is a big time-saver.

You build a custom effects chain using up to seven modules at a time, chosen from a library of 28. These include filters, delays, reverbs, pitch shifters, and even more unusual effects like a synth oscillator or a warp module for tape-stop sounds. Once your chain is set, you link any parameter to a central motion controller.

The plugin offers six different ways to drive this motion:

• Macro: Links all movement to a single knob, perfect for automating huge, sweeping transitions.
• LFO: Creates rhythmic, looping effects synced to your project's tempo.
• Follower: Makes the effects react to the volume of the incoming audio.
• Sidechain: Triggers effects based on the dynamics of another track.
• Gate: Lets you trigger complex transitions instantly, which is useful for live performance.
• Sequencer: Launches transitions that are perfectly synced to your DAW's grid.

The main transition knob is more than a simple macro. You can customize the start and end points for every parameter linked to it. This lets you design complex, fluid transitions where different effects move in different directions and at different rates, all controlled by one knob. The plugin was developed with producer Andrew Huang and includes hundreds of presets to get you started.
