Groove Console is an audio plug-in for adding vinyl-inspired character to your sound. It's designed for producers and sound designers who want to give tracks the texture and feel of a record, from subtle warmth to a grimy break. It works well on drums, vocals, or full mixes.

The effect is built from several distinct parts you can control independently.

  • Tone shaping: Choose from nine sound profiles, like Warm LP or Antique Horn, as a starting point.
  • Surface texture: Dial in surface noise and set its level separately from the main tone. You can have it run continuously or only when audio is present.
  • Performance gestures: Trigger tempo-synced effects like scratches, rewinds, and stops. These can be activated with a button or MIDI.
  • Output controls: Blend the processed sound with the original using a mix knob. An automatic level matcher and output trim help you make fair comparisons.
  • Signal monitoring: Quickly check your processed signal in mono to ensure it translates well.

The plug-in organizes its processing into a clear, five-stage signal path. You shape the tone, add the surface texture, and trigger the performance gestures. The presets are fully adjustable starting points, not fixed settings. This gives you detailed control over the final result.

Groove Console is available for macOS, Windows, and Linux as a VST3, Audio Unit (macOS only), and standalone application. Each operating system is sold as a separate edition.
