• Dynamic EQ: Any of the 24 bands can operate dynamically. This applies EQ only when a frequency crosses a threshold, which is great for taming harshness without affecting the whole track.
• Surround Sound Support: It handles full surround and immersive audio formats, including Dolby Atmos 9.1.6, with intelligent speaker selection.
• EQ Sketch: You can draw a general EQ curve directly on the display, and the plug-in automatically creates the necessary bands to match it.
• Mid/Side Processing: Each band can be set to process the stereo, mid, side, left, or right channels independently.
• Instance List: A dedicated panel shows every instance of Pro-Q 4 and other FabFilter dynamics plug-ins in your session, letting you make adjustments from one place.

The interface is designed to be fast. You add bands where you need them on the large interactive display. Features like Spectrum Grab allow you to click and drag peaks in the real-time analyzer. This helps you work quickly.

You can choose between different processing modes, including zero latency for tracking, linear phase for mastering, and a unique Natural Phase mode. It also includes "Gentle" and "Warm" filter styles for adding analog character. The built-in spectrum analyzer can visualize pre-EQ, post-EQ, and external signals to help guide your decisions.
