Event Band Manager

Event Band Manager is an app for function bands that replaces spreadsheets for managing gigs, travel, and payments. It's designed for everyone in the band, not just the leader. Each member gets their own account to see gigs, track mileage, and receive a clear monthly statement.

The app automates the complex financial split common for function bands. It calculates each person's round-trip travel costs from their own postcode and deducts that from the total fee. The remaining amount is then split evenly, and everyone can see exactly how it was worked out. It’s a clear system.

It handles the details that spreadsheets make difficult.

• Monthly statements: Each member gets a detailed, approvable statement showing every gig, expense, and mile. Receipts can be attached for easy year-end accounting.
• Dep management: When a substitute player covers a gig, their travel is calculated from their own address. The system clarifies that the band pays the member, and the member settles with their dep.
• Personal booking page: You get a public page where clients can check your availability and submit an enquiry, which can be converted into a quote and a confirmed gig.
• Agency sheet sync: If an agency manages your bookings in a shared sheet, the app can connect to it and import gigs automatically.
• UK focus: Invoices and statements are written for UK musicians, including standard Musicians' Union payment terms.

Managers can run several bands from a single login, keeping their own figures separate. For individual musicians, the app provides a single diary for all their gigs, whether they are a full-time member or just depping for a night. Your account belongs to you, not the band. It keeps a permanent, auditable record of who was paid what for every gig.
