SheetScroll is a sheet music reader that turns the pages for you. It listens to you play through your device's microphone or a MIDI connection and advances the score at the right moment. It's for musicians who want to focus on their performance without worrying about page turns. You can use your own sheet music files, like PDFs and scans.

The app is designed to turn the page about two beats before you reach the end, just as a human page-turner would. It's smart enough to hold the page if it hears a similar-sounding passage earlier in the piece, preventing premature turns. If you stop, go back, or practice a difficult section, SheetScroll quickly finds your place again when you resume playing.

It includes tools for both practice and performance.

  • Import anything: Use your own PDFs, photos of scores, or files from MuseScore, Guitar Pro, and MusicXML.
  • Practice tools: Loop difficult bars or practice hands separately while the app listens.
  • Annotations: Add your own notes, fingerings, and highlights directly onto the score.
  • Navigation: It automatically follows repeat signs, D.S., and coda markings.
  • Setlists: Organize your pieces for a gig or practice session.
  • Hardware support: Connect Bluetooth pedals for manual control or a digital piano via MIDI for precise note tracking.
  • Chord charts: Transpose chord charts, add a capo, or switch to Nashville numbers.

Your privacy is a core part of the design. The app analyzes sound in real-time on your device. It never records, stores, or sends your audio. No account is required to use it, and all features work completely offline.

You can use the app as a sheet music reader for free. This includes importing, organizing, and annotating your music. The automatic, hands-free page turning is part of the Pro version, which you can try with a free trial. The free version also includes eight courses for learning instruments like piano and trumpet, with listening features enabled.
